SWAP

SWAP is an international conference on various continents that promotes discussion of the three Pais distinctives. Our hope is to bring communities together to collaborate on new, fresh and insightful ideas.
SWAP covers three days, all of which start with a keynote presentation. Each day is then followed by three sessions that include a twenty minute presentation of a new idea, and forty minutes of creative collaboration. These nine ideas are themed together so that day one is based around the pais mission distinctive, day two discipleship, and day three study.
Fringe seminars: At some venues there will be fringe seminars on specific subjects. For instance, at some of the SWAP’s based around the element of ‘Education’ there may be a series on schools work. As time goes on we are hoping to record more and more of these ideas on video and upload them to our resource website for free viewing.

The advantage of SWAP is that it’s more than listening to a speaker’s ideas – but having the opportunity to discuss how the ideas apply in a real ministry context.

There are three ‘Elements’ of SWAP Conferences: Ekklesia, Education, and Enterprise.

Each SWAP will focus on how our three distinctive approaches to mission, discipleship and study fit into one of these three elements.

At some conferences two or three of these may be blended together.

Education focuses on “Schools and Youth Communities.”

At the conference you will be presented with several concepts youth leadership based around the Pais 3 Distinctives of Mission, Discipleship and Study.

You will also get a chance to collaborate with other youth pastors and leaders to discuss practical implications for you and your community.

Ekklesia focuses on “Church and Christian Leadership.”

At the conference you will be presented with several concepts concerning church leadership based around the Pais 3 Distinctives of Mission, Discipleship and Study.

You will also get a chance to collaborate with other church leaders to discuss practical implications for you and your community.

Enterprise focuses on “Entrepreneurs and Kingdom Centric Business.”

Outline

The outline of each day promotes healthy collaboration around relevant ideas. We do not want to bombard people with information but instead, allow space for the ideas to take root and breathe in our hearts and minds. Based around the days agenda there are also all manner of opportunities to be entertained, relaxed and meet new people.
With this in mind, the outline of each day looks like this.

Welcome - Session 1: Keynote Series - Break - Session 2: Idea one and collaboration - Lunch - Session 3: Idea two and collaboration - Break - Session 4: Idea three and collaboration
